Traditionally, client-installed software has been the preferred choice of users when faced with the need to automate. Oftentimes, installing software comes with significant upfront costs and further complications installing and supporting an application. The Software as a Service (SaaS) model is predicated on a 'one-to-many' or multi-customer delivery model whereby an application is shared across customers. A key premise of this model is that the ConnecTech invests in the technology, hardware, and ongoing support services instead of your company.

There are many benefits that come with adopting a SaaS model. By utilizing software delivered via SaaS, both ConnecTech and your company are able to begin taking advantage of automation more quickly, experience more predictable costs, and achieve a faster Return on Investment (ROI). In fact, according to a recent study by the Aberdeen Group, users of SaaS report achieving ROI in six months or fewer, which is 2-4 times faster than with client-installed alternatives.

ConnecTech’s security systems work on a client/server model in which the centralized managed server hosts the security program and an accompanying client program is installed on each network device. Operating in a software-as-a-service (SaaS) delivery model, the host server and its security programs are maintained remotely by ConnecTech. In the delivery system, when a client attempts to log onto the network, the server validates user credentials and scans the device to make sure that it complies with defined corporate security policies before allowing access to the network.
